Found a really fun session on skillshare which goes through the process of creating your own little avatar using Adobe Illustrator which I decided to give a go…
I used one of my previous profile pictures from facebook to base my avatar off (as I love my hair in this picture…) Starting with some basic shapes I created a very simple head that I adjusted to better suit my own head shape. I wanted to keep the details quite simple but focus on some of the my key features, so my nose shape which is very angular, my cat-eye makeup and obviously the hair.
I really like looking back at all the process pictures and you can see clearly how they’ve evolved with each little change I made until I was happy with the final Avatar.
